Bulgaria Warns Citizens Against Travel Through Hungary
Bulgaria has warned its citizens to avoid travel by train or road through the territory of Hungary due to concentration of refugees at the country's borders with Austria and Serbia.
The Bulgarian Foreign Ministry recommended to use alternative routes through Romania and Slovakia or via Serbia and Slovenia.
Hungary deploys 3,800 soldiers at border with Serbia
Around 3,800 soldiers have already been deployed at Hungary's southern border, Hungary's Defense Minister Istvan Simicsko said on Friday morning.
The soldier's main task is to help in the building of a fence along the border with Serbia, it has been announced.
5,000 refugees arrive in Serbian town in one day
A record number of refugees - as many as 5,000 - arrived to the reception center in Kanjiza, northern Serbia, in a single day, RTS said on Thursday morning.
At the same time, according to Hungarian police, 3,300 of them crossed into neighboring Hungary.

Hungarian Defence Minister Resigns
Hungarian Defence Minister Csaba Hende submitted his resignation on Monday as refugees continue to flock to the country.
According to a statement of the Hungarian government, Prime Minister Viktor Orban accepted the resignation and asked fellow Fidesz party member Istvan Simicsko to succeed Hende as defence minister, Daily News Hungary informs.

Refugees break through fence, others head to Austria on foot
A refugee "uprising" in Hungary on Friday saw one group break through the fence of a reception center, and another deciding to go to Austria "on foot."
300 refugees in the center near the town of Roszke broke through the fence and headed toward the M5 highway, the Hungarian police said.

The Hungarian police in Budapest continue to block the main train station for some 3,000 refugees who wish to travel to western European countries.
Many have spent the night in front of the station.

The Foreign Ministry in Sofia confirmed on Friday that three Bulgarian citizens have been arrested in Hungary in connection with the grim discovery in a truck in Austria, in which the dead bodies of dozens of migrants were found.
Hungary considers sending army to border with Serbia
Hungary is considering using the army to secure its southern border "where record numbers of migrants are streaming into the EU," Reuters reported.
“Hungary's government and national security cabinet has discussed the question of how the army could be used to help protect Hungary's border and the EU's border,” government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs said.
