Mrkic: Schroeder's statement comes too late
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivan Mrkic stated on Monday that the statement by Gerhard Schroeder, former chancellor of Germany, that the 1999 air campaign against Serbia constituted a violation of the international law came too late, reiterating that Serbia advocates the adherence to the international law in all circumstances.

Ivanovic's health deteriorates in solitary confinement
BELGRADE - Political leader of Serbs in north Kosovo-Metohija Oliver Ivanovic has been in solitary confinement in Pristina as of Saturday, and his health has deteriorated, Ivanovic's wife Milena told Tanjug on Monday.
“I visited Oliver in the detention unit in Pristina. This is the seventh day in a row that he is on a hunger strike. His health was very poor today,” she said.
Kosovo elections in line with Brussels agreement
BELGRADE – The March 16 Kosovo elections will be held in accordance with the agreements reached in Brussels on April 16 and with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Serbia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said Sunday.

Serbian gov’t to bring “Kosovo armed forces” issue to UN
BELGRADE - The Serbian government said at a meeting it held late on Friday that the intention of the Provisional Institutions of Self-Government in Kosovo to form “Kosovo armed forces” is destabilizing the situation in Kosovo-Metohija (KiM) and announced bringing the this issue to the United Nations (UN).
Concern over Ivanovic's deteriorated health
BELGRADE - The Serbian government office for Kosovo stated on Friday concern of the deteriorated health of Citizen Initiative SDP leader Oliver Ivanovic, who has been on a hunger strike in a prison in Pristina for four days.
"Ivanovic's condition is so poor that he was unable to make it through his lawyer's visit today, according to what we have been told," the statement says.

Kocijancic: Date of next round unknown
BRUSSELS - The next round of the talks concerning the normalization of the relations between Belgrade and Pristina has not been scheduled yet and it is unknown when it will be held, Maja Kocijancic, spokesperson of the EU High Representative Catherine Ashton, told reporters on Friday.

Serbia Asks FIFA to Scrap Kosovo Friendlies

Serbia's Football Association, FSS, has written to FIFA, asked it to cancel a decision to allow Kosovo's national team to play friendly matches.
The FSS said the Serbian flag was set on fire before Kosovo's first such friendly, played in Mitrovica, northern Kosovo, against Haiti.

Montenegrins in Kosovo Seek Official Status
Montenegrin associations in Kosovo filed a joint initiative for consolidation of the community's legal status in the country on Thursday.
The initiative was submitted to President Atifete Jahjaga, the speaker of the Assembly, Jakup Krasniqi, and the Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci.

Ivanović still on hunger strike, his health deteriorates
PRIŠTINA -- The health of Oliver Ivanović, the detained Serb politician from northern Kosovo, who earlier this week began a hunger strike, "has worsened."
This is according to his wife Milena Popović-Ivanović, who spoke late on Thursday.
