Serbia now ranks 94th on competitiveness list
BELGRADE -- Serbia has risen seven spots on the World Economic Forum's global competitiveness list for 2014 and is now 94th among 144.
This is according to the Foundation for the Advancement of Economics, the Beta news agency reported.

Greece up 10 spots in competitiveness chart

Greece climbed 10 spots this year in the World Economic Forums competitiveness chart, which was published on Wednesday. However, the country remains constrained by corruption in public administration, a lack of transparency and the inefficiency of the state, according to the Global Competitiveness Report.

EU May File WTO Complaint over Russia's Food Embargo
The EU may file legal action the World Trade Organization (WTO) over the Russian food embargo, according to EU Trade Commissioner Karel de Gucht.
De Gucht said in an interview for German newspaper Frankfurter Algemeine Zeitung that the complaint was being prepared and it could be filed in mid-September, adding that no final decision had been made on the step.
