Government spokesman Stelios Petsas on Monday thanked the majority of Greek citizens who have observed restrictions to ward against the spread of the coronavirus while warning against the danger of backsliding on the measures. 

Countries across the globe have instituted radical measures in the fight against the novel coronavirus, Covid-19, to create physical distance: closing schools; shuttering shops and restaurants; asking families to barricade themselves indoors; securing their borders.

Because of the self-isolation imposed by the authorities over the pandemic with the new virus, British experts expect a real baby boom to be observed in the UK early next year, the Daily Mail writes. Dr Sheri Jacobson, clinical director at Harley Therapy, a psychotherapy clinic in London, told the Times that there was a 'strong possibility; of a baby boom'.

Boban Mugosa denied the numbers - 237 medical workers self-isolating and 10 infected - were due to workplace exposure to COVID-19 or a lack of equipment, but because of "contacts at home."

He told TV Prva that 19 people were on respirators this morning.
Tiodorovic concluded that it was expected that this week of fighting coronavirus will be quite difficult.
"This week will be one of the hardest," he said, adding that the number of patients and deaths is likely to increase.

President Klaus Iohannis said on Tuesday that he established with the Government representatives the preparation f some electronic supervision measures, for the persons who are in isolation or quarantine.

The Health Ministry's spokesman on Covid-19 management, Professor Sotiris Tsiodras, today announced that 71 new Coronavirus were confirmed in the last 24 hours.

The total number of confirmed cases in Greece rose to 695.

Tsiodras said 114 Covid-19 patients are hospitalised, of whom 35 are on respirators in ICUs, 61 percent of whom are men,

The Romanian portable isolator has been created at the request of the Medical Directorate of the National Defence Ministry (MApN), being adapted according to the system through which those transported with it were protected from an external contaminating agent, scientific researcher with the Military Equipment and Technologies Research Agency (METRA) Claudiu Lazaroaie said on Saturday.

"I don't want to risk going to my doctor and I need therapy. Please go to my doctor so she can prescribe my medication, because I only have pills left for three days."

This was one of the calls that the Red Cross's municipal HQ in the Skopje municipality of Karposh received on Wednesday morning.

He explained to TV Prva that a large number of vehicles were at the border yesterday, but that no one entered Serbia during the traffic ban, which was pronounced from 08.00 pm to 05.00 am.
