US blues legend Johnny Winter dies at 70
American blues legend Johnny Winter has died aged 70 in a hotel room near Zurich, Swiss police and a statement on his official Facebook page said July 17.
"His wife, family and bandmates are all saddened by the loss of their loved one and one of the world's finest guitarists," the statement read, adding that Winter died on July 16.

Bobby Womack, singer with brave 2nd act, dies
Bobby Womack, a colorful and highly influential R&B singer-songwriter who influenced artists from the Rolling Stones to Damon Albarn, has died. He was 70.
Womackâs publicist Sonya Kolowrat said Friday that the singer had died, but she could provide no other details.
