A South Korean court said on Nov. 6 it had issued arrest warrants for two former presidential aides under investigation in an influence peddling scandal that has sent President Park Geun-hye's approval rating to a record low.
Kim Jong-un executes chief of military
The chief of North Korea’s military, General Ri Young-gil, has been executed on charges of corruption, according to a South Korean news agency.

US Ambassador to South Korea Slashed by Attacker
The U.S. Ambassador to South Korea, Mark Lippert, was injured in an attack by a man wielding a knife on Thursday in Seoul.
Lippert, 42, was slashed in the face during a forum held in Soul on Korean reunification.
The attacker, a 55-year-old Kim Ki-jong, was shouting anti-war slogans.
