Türkiye's top diplomat, Hakan Fidan, has reiterated the need for the revitalization of ties and enhanced dialogue between Türkiye and the EU, after a lengthy and rare meeting with the EU foreign ministers in Brussels.

The EU said it is "extremely concerned" about the deepening political crisis in Venezuela, where the results of the presidential election last month have been rejected by the opposition, the bloc's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said Sunday.

Iran's new foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, has called for dialogue with the European Union to resolve bilateral issues, following a phone call with the bloc's top diplomat.
