South Korea police raid Jeju Air, airport over fatal crash

South Korean police on Thursday raided the offices of Jeju Air and the operator of Muan International Airport as part of the probe into the fatal crash of a Boeing 737-800 plane that killed 179 people.

Asian giant's chief apologizes for shipping chaos
The chairman of South Korea's Hanjin Group on Oct. 4 apologized for the "cargo chaos" caused by the collapse of its shipping unit, but insisted the company could, and should, be salvaged.
Hanjin Shipping, the world's seventh largest shipping company, is seeking bankruptcy protection at home and in the U.S. after creditors rejected its latest plan to deal with a $5.37 billion debt.

Korean Air wins $92.4 million parts deal with
South Korea's top carrier Korean Air said April 23 that it had secured a 100 billion won ($92.4 million) deal with Airbus to supply parts for the European firm's new A330neo.
From 2016, Korean Air will start producing "sharklets" - specialised winglets attached to the tip of an aircraft's wings - for the twin-engine jet under development by Airbus, a spokesman said.
