Protesters, Peacekeepers, Injured as Violence Erupts in North Kosovo
At least 50 protesters and more than a dozen NATO peacekeepers from KFOR were injured on Monday in Kosovo's northern town of Zvecan/Zvecane in clashes which erupted in the afternoon.

Many injured in Zvecan clashes, one Serb shot and wounded with AK-47
ZVECAN - Many people were injured in Monday's clashes between Kfor troops and Serb protesters in Zvecan, a Serb-majority municipality in northern Kosovo-Metohija, a Tanjug reporter on the ground said.
One of the protesters was shot and wounded with an AK-47 rifle and subsequently hospitalised with an exit wound.

ZVECAN - Several Serbs, including a Tanjug reporter on the ground, were injured in Monday's clashes between Serb protesters and Kfor troops in Zvecan, a municipality in the north of Kosovo-Metohija.
The reporter suffered minor injuries after a stun grenade fell to his feet and exploded.

Vucevic: Army to remain in full combat readiness until Friday
BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic said on Monday the Serbian Armed Forces would remain in full combat readiness until Friday and that deployment of army formations along the administrative line with Kosovo-Metohija would be completed by 2 pm.
Vucevic noted that he expected the issue to be resolved by political means and not through war.

Srpska lista, Zvecan residents protest against mayor, want Pristina's police to withdraw
ZVECAN - Srpska lista and residents of Zvecan who gathered outside the local municipal building on Monday morning said they wanted a newly-elected ethnic Albanian mayor to stop coming into the building and Pristina's special police troops to withdraw immediately, a Tanjug reporter on the ground said.
