Tackling the housing shortage with vacant properties
The government is looking for ways to make use of empty houses and apartments to boost supply and pressure prices downward.
The Independent Authority for Public Revenue estimates that there are 600,000 vacant properties around the country.

Solution in the pipeline for foreign student visas
Greece is drafting legislation to lift the obstacles faced by foreign students from countries outside the European Union who want to study in English-language undergraduate or postgraduate programs at Greek universities.
The biggest problem is the issuance of student visas to students from countries outside the Schengen zone.

Mitsotakis: We Remain Focused on Controlling Prices
“We remain focused on controlling prices,” said Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during his scheduled meeting with the President of the Republic, Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
“The indications that there was a decline in prices at supermarkets in June are encouraging. I believe the overall mix of measures is starting to yield results,” he noted.

Mitsotakis on CNN: Europe cannot rely only on US for defense
