La Tosca

The Athens and Thessaloniki concert halls are screenings the Metropolitan Opera's production of "Tosca" from New York at 7.55 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday respectively. Sir David McVicar's "smashing new production" (Huffington Post) features an exciting cast led by soprano Sonya Yoncheva in the title role of the fiery diva and Vittorio Grigolo as her passionate lover, Cavaradossi.

The Greek National Opera is offering 300 seats to unemployed people at Wednesday afternoon's dress rehearsal for its production of Giacomo Puccini's "Tosca," at its state-of-the-art opera house at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in southern Athens.

Giacomo Puccini’s famous opera, “Tosca” took place in the Odeon of Herodes Atticus, within the framework of the Athens Festival, on Sunday June 14th, 2015. The musical direction was led by Loukas Karytinos and Hugo de Ana was responsible for the direction, stage sets, and costumes.
