Bulgaria is again among the most preferred destinations for Russian tourists, Tourism Minister Nikolina Angelkova said, reports Darik.
At this point the summer season is very successful and preliminary data show an expected growth of between 7 and 10 percent, she reported.

Turkey takes underwater hockey crown for 2nd time
Turkish U23 men's team emerged victorious on July 21, 4th World Age Group Underwater Hockey Championships held in Hobart, Australia.
Turkey beat France by a score of 3-1 in the championship final. The under-23-years-of-age team finished the group stage in first place, beat Argentina in the quarter-finals 12-0, and beat Colombia 2-0 in the semi-finals.

Matrakçı Nasuh opens in Rome
An exhibition titled "Matrakçı Nasuh: A 16th Century Genius," featuring works by the famous 16th-century Ottoman philosopher, mathematician and historian Matrakçı Nasuh, opens today in Italian capital Rome.
The exhibition is hosted by the Societa Geografica Italiana Foundation, which has Europe's most important map archive and library, as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations.
