Serbian students win handful of medals at science Olympiad
The mathematics team of high school students from Belgrade's Mathematical Gymnasium has won the top prize at the International Zhautykov Olympiad (IZhO).
The mathematics, physics and informatics competition was was held in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, January 12-17.
Medal-winning science students excluded from celebrations

Young programmers win second place in Russia
BELGRADE - A three-member team of the Mathematical Gymnasium Belgrade has won the second place at the 15th programming championship in Russia among a total of 46 teams.
The Serbian team comprised: Nikola Jovanovic, Luka Vukelic and Filip Vesovic, and the competition was held in the city of Kazan, the Russian Republic of Tatarstan.

Serbian programmers win four medals at Balkan Olympiad
BELGRADE - Serbian high school students won two gold and two bronze medals at the 22nd Balkan Olympiad in Informatics, held from August 10 to 17 in Ankara, Turkey.
The Serbian team won the second place overall at this year's Balkan Olympiad, which gathered a total of 46 participants from 12 countries.
