The number of successful women assuming prominent roles in the Greek business world is rapidly on the rise.
The Union of Greek Shipowners boasts a female president, Melina Travlos, a development of significant importance not only domestically but also globally, given that a quarter of the world's commercial fleet is controlled by Greek interests.

STOMP | Athens & Thessaloniki | September 17-18 & 21-22
The ultra-popular UK percussion and dance troupe STOMP will perform at the Melina Mercouri Open-Air Theater in Vyronas for two nights on September 17 and 18 before heading up to Thessaloniki for another four shows on September 21 and 22. STOMP is known for creating musical narratives using common objects including brooms and trash can lids.
