Serbian peacekeepers take part in CAR parade
BANGUI/BELGRADE - Serbian Armed Forces troops have taken part in a military parade staged at the M'Poko International Airport in Bangui, Central African Republic (CAR), to mark the declaration of full operational capabilities of the UN peacekeeping mission in the country.

Dikovic visits Serbian "blue helmets" in Lebanon
BELGRADE - Chief-of-staff of the Serbian Armed Forces Ljubisa Dikovic has visited the members of the Serbian army engaged in the UN peacekeeping mission in Cyprus.
During his visit to Cyprus on Monday, Dikovic said that the Serbian army members are performing all tasks within this UN multinational operation in a highly professional way.

China's invitation to celebrations of victory over fascism
BELGRADE - The Ministry of National Defense of the People's Republic of China extended an official invitation to the Serbian Defense Ministry and Armed Forces to take part in the celebrations of 70th anniversary of the victory over fascism in World War II.
The Defense Ministry stated in a release that Beijing will hold a military parade on the occasion.
Renewed campaign against army not to shake citizens' trust

Serbian Armed Forces in Platinum Lion exercise in Bulgaria
SOFIA/BELGRADE - Serbian Armed Forces troops are participating in the Platinum Lion military exercise in Bulgaria alongside US, Bulgarian and Romanian colleagues.
The exercise, held from January 12 through 23 at the Novo Selo training range, involves 30 Serbian Armed Forces troops, as well as over 300 members of the US, Bulgarian and Romanian armed forces.

BELGRADE - The Order of the White Eagle (Class 2), which Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic granted to the air force and air defense, was given to Ranko Zivak, the commander of this service branch of the Serbian Armed Forces, on Monday evening.

Russian military parachutes for Special Brigade
PANCEVO - The Armed Force of the Russian Federation will donate 10 military parachutes to the Special Brigade of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The protocol on donation was signed in Pancevo on Wednesday by Special Brigade Chief of Staff Miroljub Cubic and Russian Defense Attaché Valery Volkov.

Dikovic, Bertolini discuss cooperation between armed forces
