Staff-level agreement on Greek review by Dec 5 'doable,' says Moscovici
European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said on Monday night that he believes a staff-level agreement with foreign creditors is "doable" before a December 5 meeting of eurozone finance ministers.

“We are very close to an agreement,” said Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras with reference to the second evaluation during the reception for Commissioner Pierre Moscovici at Maximos Mansion after the Commissioner’s meeting with the President of the Republic, Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
Moscovici set to travel to Athens for conference
European Commissioner for Economic Affairs Pierre Moscovici is coming to Athens on Monday to participate in the 27th Annual "The Greek Economy" Conference of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce, titled "Greece and the Global Disruptive Environment: A Look in to the Future," which takes place on November 28 and 29 at the InterContinental Athenaeum Hotel.

The EuroGroup Ministers are convening in Luxembourg, Monday to discuss whether the first review of the Greek bailout program, signed in August 2015 with the country’s creditors -the European Stability Mechanism and the EU member-states, will be completed. The EuroWorking Group (EWG) met earlier to decide on if Greece had implemented the 15 prior actions, in accordance to the compliance report.
Moscovici hopes for Greece debt deal by year-end
European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici said Tuesday he hoped a deal to secure debt relief for Greece could be reached by the end of the year.
Speaking during an event organized by the Brussels-based weekly Politico, Moscovici said that a Greek exit from the euro area was no longer in the cards.

Moscovici says two prior actions completed, 13 more to go
Greece has completed two out of 15 prior actions, Pierre Moscovici, the European commissioner for economic and financial affairs, told a press conference following a meeting of Eurozone finance ministers in Bratislava on Friday.
Moscovici: Decision on Greek debt to be taken until May 1
European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici appeared optimistic about Greece’s reform program in an interview with TV channel LCP.
He said that it is necessary to draft a good reform plan together with the Greek Government before starting the debate on Greek debt relief.
EU: Institutions’ technical teams to arrive in Athens within the week
European Commissioner for Financial Affairs Pierre Moscovici spokesperson Annika Breidthardt announced on Tuesday that the technical teams of the institutions will return to Athens within the week.
According to Breidthardt, the return of the institutions’ technical teams to Athens is “an important step” to prepare the visit of the heads of the institutions in the near future.

Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Tuesday received European Commissioner for Economic and Financial Affairs, Taxation and Customs Pierre Moscovici at Maximos Mansion at 17.30. Their meeting was concluded and Mr. Moscovici will then meet Greek Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Alternate Finance Minister George Chouliarakis.
