TAIPED collects 8.8 mln from state property sales
State privatization fund TAIPED has secured revenues of 8.8 million euros from sale and lease transactions for properties in Greece on the e-Auction online platform.
Two buildings in Patra and Nafplio, a hotel in Athens, a plot in the Volos Industrial Zone and three plots near Ermioni in the Peloponnese have been sold while farmland near Tripoli, in the Peloponnese, has been leased.

Storms claim one life in Corfu, cause havoc in northern Peloponnese

Viral video: Baby stops crying in hands of police officer (video-photos)
A video of a Greek female police officer holding a baby in her arms trying to comfort it after a car crash has gone viral. The incident took place Wednesday afternoon on the road between Nafplio and Argos in the eastern Peloponnese when a vehicle rammed into the rear of a car parked on the side of the road pushing it into the ditch.
