Athens among Best Value Cities for 2016
Athens features in the top 20 list of hotels giving the best value for money, according to a study conducted by hotel search website Trivago.
Trivago released a list with the 45 best value popular global cities for the coming year and Athens was ranked 17th with 78.36 points.

Second Med Yacht Show to take place in Nafplio
The historic city of Nafplio, in the eastern Peloponnese, is set to host next month?s 2nd Mediterranean Yacht Show, organized by the Greek Yachting Association, thus establishing itself as a destination on the Greek yachting map, as Nafplio Mayor Dimitris Kostouros stated on Thursday during a presentation for the event.

Santorini voted Europe's best holiday island

Santorini has been voted by TripAdvisor users as the best island in Europe and the fourth in the world, according to the results of poll published by the biggest international travel website.
Crete ranked third in Europe, with Zakynthos fourth.

Elderly parents face Nafplio magistrate over murder of son
The parents of a 39-year-old food delivery worker whose burned remains were discovered in a car near the town of Astros in the Peloponnese last Friday faced an investigating magistrate in Nafplio in connection with his killing on Thursday with sources indicating that the 75-year-old father has admitted to murdering his son.
