5.9 Magnitude Earthquake Registered in Chile
A 5.9 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale shook northeastern Chile near the border with Bolivia, according to data from the US Geological Survey.
The quake was registered at 10:40 GMT. The epicentre is 73 kilometres northeast of the city of Calama, home to more than 150,000 people. The depth was 112.4 kilometres.
There is no information about casualties and damage.

Magnitude 5.1 tremor rattles Rhodes
A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck east of the island of Rhodes early Thursday morning, without causing injuries or damages.
According to the Athens' Geodynamic Institute, the tremor, whose epicenter was 37 kilometers east of the island, was recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers.

314 Secondary Earthquakes in Istanbul for the Past Three Days
The number of the secondary earthquakes in Istanbul, after the strong earthquake of 5.6 magnitude on the Richter scale, reached 314. This was reported on Twitter by the Office of Emergency Management, quoted by BGNES.
One of the strongest secondary quakes was registered yesterday at 2.03 pm in the Silivri region. It was of magnitude 3.8 on the Richter scale, Anadolu Agency noted.
A Strong Secondary Quake Caused Panic in Pakistan
A secondary earthquake with a 4.4 magnitude on the Richter scale shook northeastern Pakistan, where 38 people were killed in a major earthquake on Tuesday, destroying buildings and roads, according to BGNES.
The secondary quake caused massive panic, and thousands left their homes and remained on the streets and outdoors.

Strong Earthquake in Indonesia
An earthquake with a magnitude 6.8 Richter shook eastern Indonesia, according to data from a local geophysical institute.
According to US seismologists, the strength of the quake was 6.5. Its epicenter was about 40 km from the city of Ambon, Maluku province.

Strong Earthquakes near Istanbul and the Island of Crete this Morning
A 5.6 Magnitude earthquake was reported near Crete Island at 10:49 am local time, according to the European Seismological Center.
The epicentre of the quake is 477 km southeast of Athens at a depth of 20 km.
At the same time, a 4.7 Richter earthquake was registered 64 km from Istanbul at 11.00 am this morning. The quake at a depth of 20 km.
Two Powerful Earthquakes Registered in Indonesia Minutes Ago!
Two powerful earthquakes of magnitude 6.2 and 6 on the Richter scale shook Indonesia in less than an hour ago, according to BGNES.
The earthquakes were registered respectively at 10:06 am and 10:32 am Bulgarian time.
The epicentre is 155 km northeast of Surabaya and has a depth of 613 km.

5.5 Magnitude Earthquake in Venezuela
A 5.5 magnitude earthquake occurred 18 kilometres from the city of Araya, near the coast of Venezuela. No injuries or damages were reported as a result of the quake.
Shock waves were observed at a depth of just 5.9 kilometres in the sea, more than 200 kilometres from the capital of the Latin American state of Caracas.
