4.5 Magnitude Earthquake in Vrancea
An 4.5 magnitude earthquake has been registered in the Romanian seismic region of Vrancea, the National Geophysics Institute of the country reported, quoted by BTA. The quake struck at 14.52 pm local time at a depth of 116 km.
There are no reports of casualties and destruction. This is the strongest earthquake recorded in Romania this year, TASS notes.

4.7 Magnitude Earthquake on the Richter Scale Registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina
An earthquake with a 4.7 magnitude on the Richter scale has been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The earthquake occurred at 15:01 local time with an epicentre 6 km north of Mramor and 89 km north of the capital Sarajevo, 10 km deep, according to the European Seismological Centre.
Earthquake in Vrancea
Its epicentre wass 14 km from Nerezhu.
An earthquake with 3.7 magnitude on the Richter scale was felt in Vrancea. The earthquake occurred at 20.17 local time. This is reported by the Geophysical Institute of BAS.
Its epicentre is 14 kilometers from Nerezhu and 141 kilometers from Bucharest. The earthquake was 138 kilometers deep.

5.2 Magnitude Earthquake in Southwestern Iran
A 5.2 magnitude earthquake shook an area in southwestern Iran, according to a national seismological centre, quoted by the Associated Press.
The epicentre of the quake was near the city of Cheram in the provinces of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, about 544 km southwest of the capital Tehran.
Light tremors were also felt around Kuwait.

A weak earthquake was registered in the Sofia area. This is according to the website of the National Institute of Geophysics, Geodesy, and Geography of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), FOCUS News Agency reported.

Quake spurs damage claims
More than 2,000 claims for damages were lodged with Greek insurance companies following the 5.1-magnitude earthquake that struck the capital on July 19, according to the country's union of insurance firms.
Of those claims, around 1,700 concerned homes and the remainder businesses, the union said.

Strong tremor shakes western Greece
A strong earthquake with a magnitude of 4.7 has struck in western Greece, Athens' Geodynamics Institute reports.
The tremor struck at 6.08 pm local time (1508 GMT) about 30 kilometers (19 miles) northwest of the city of Agrinio at a depth of 28 km (17 miles).
No damage has been reported so far.
