Minister announces national programme for AI
Montreal – Public Administration Minister Boštjan Koritnik took part on Friday in a virtual session of the Global Partnership on Artificial Intelligence, the first meeting of the alliance founded this summer. Koritnik said Slovenia was working on a national AI programme.

OECD improves Slovenia’s GDP forecast for 2020, outlook for 2021 worse
Paris – The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has slightly upgraded its forecast for Slovenia’s GDP in 2020, projecting that it will fall by 7.5% this year, while also downgrading the expected rebound in 2020, to 3.4%.
In the first half of June, the OECD said that Slovenia’s economy was expected to shrink by 7.8% this year, and then grow by 4.5% in 2021.

Economy’s structure makes it vulnerable during pandemic
The economic sectors especially hard hit by the measures introduced to curb the spread of the coronavirus, such as retail commerce and tourism, account for 45 percent of all employment in Greece, according to data compiled by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). OECD toolkit reforms add billions
