Nord Stream 2 AG has signed contracts with Engie, OMV, Royal Dutch Shell, Uniper and Wintershall on the financing of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.

The companies will provide half of the project cost of EUR 9.5 billion, TASS has reported, quoting Gazprom.

"There is conscious parallelism rather than a cartel in fuel trade," Commission on Protection of Competition (CPC) Yulia Nenkova told journalists on Friday, according to BTA.

The Commission for Competition Protection has obliged the six companies under investigation for being a cartel when determining end prices to stop all contacts among themselves.

Austrian oil and gas group OMV has announced the sale of its Turkish subsidiary Petrol Ofisi to Swiss oil trading giant Vitol for 1.368 billion euros ($1.45 billion).

Oil giant Shell has completed a stage of oil and gas exploration in the Silistar offshore block, in Bulgaria's Black Sea zone.

Shell Exploration & Development will analyze the result of seismic studies to decide whether or not to drill into the seabed, Capital.bg reports.

Bulgaria's anti-monopoly commission has "convincing evidence" that six oil companies operating in the Balkan country's retail fuel market were involved in cartel agreements on fuel prices, the watchdog's chief said on Thursday.

The Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) is expected to cast more light on its recent announcement that six petrol and diesel retailers are involved in price fixing which distorts the fuels market in Bulgaria.

The Bulgarian Petroleum and Gas Association (BPGA) has expressed its surprise at the competition watchdog's claims of a cartel agreement involving six major oil and gas retailers.
