Two arrested in Rafina for receiving 920 grams of cocaine from Colombia
A 51-year-old Greek national and a 45-year-old foreign national were arrested in Rafina, East Attica, on Tuesday afternoon by port authority officers after receiving a package from Colombia containing cocaine.
According to the Coast Guard, officers had flagged a suspicious package at a courier company's office. It had been shipped from Bogota to Athens International Airport.
Life imprisonment to 5 people for the “mammoth” quantity of 585 kilos of cocaine
The Thessaloniki Criminal Court of Appeal imposed life imprisonment, and additional temporary sentences of 8 to 15 years, on each of the five defendants who were arrested last September for the “mammoth” quantity of 585 kilos of cocaine seized by the National Police, in eastern Thessaloniki.
A minor was dealing cocaine in Sparta
A juvenile was caught in the gears of “hard” drugs, but he was not limited to their use, but was also distributing them to other users in areas of Sparta, together with a 20-year-old foreigner who systematically used him as a “drug dealer”.

Police seize cocaine shipment at Piraeus port
Greek police uncovered 21 kilograms of cocaine, with an estimated street value of one million euros, concealed in a container carrying bananas at the capital's port of Piraeus on Wednesday.
The container, which originated in Ecuador, was deemed suspicious and X-rayed before police and sniffer dogs conducted a search.

Police continue investigation into second cocaine haul
New information has emerged about the discovery of a second container of cocaine in a container in the port of Piraeus this week.
The second shipment, found on Thursday, comprises 100 kilograms of cocaine, which was hidden among frozen squid.

Dozens of packages of cocaine were confiscated on Wednesday by Greek authorities at the port of Piraeus inside banana containers shipped from Ecuador.
Customs inspectors undertook an x-ray examination of a suspicious cargo container of bananas revealing organic material in the refrigeration units.
