Minus zero temperatures in northern Greece
A cold front that swept into Greece on Friday brought subzero temperatures and frost to many parts, mostly in Western Macedonia.
The Meteo weather service of the National Observatory of Athens recorded the lowest temperatures on Friday morning in Neos Kafkasos in the municipality of Florina (-13.7C) and the town of Florina itself (-11.3C).

Former Golden Dawn spokesman Kasidiaris denies everything
Ilias Kasidiaris, a prominent former MP and spokesman of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn party, testified on Wednesday in the ongoing trial into GD leaders on suspicion of forming a criminal organization.
Describing the charges against him and the party leadership as "fabricated" and "politically motivated," Kasidiaris said he would not apologize for his and the party's ideology.

PM, family mark 30 years since assassination of Pavlos Bakoyannis
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis commemorated the 30-year anniversary of the assassination of politician Pavlos Bakoyannis by the now-defunct terrorist group November 17 in downtown Athens in 1989.
"Thirty years without Pavlos Bakoyannis. We miss him always. He will never cease to inspire us," he wrote in a tweet on his official account.
