Man dies while trying to cross into Greece
Authorities in northern Greece on Friday were seeking to identify a man who drowned in the Evros River, apparently while trying to cross from Turkey into Greece.
The body of the man was recovered from the river by Greek border guards on Thursday afternoon.

Historian testifies about 2008 Golden Dawn attack
A historian who was viciously attacked by a gang of Golden Dawn members in the summer of 2008 testified on Friday at the ongoing trial on the criminal activities of the far-right party, telling judges that there were a lot of similarities between that assault and others of which the party stands accused.
