Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an has slammed Russia's "unjust" interventions in Syria and Ukraine while reiterating Turkish support for the latter's government during a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart, Petro Poroshenko, in Ankara. 

Turkey and Ukraine have deepened political, military and economic ties through consecutive high-level visits following the Turkish military's downing of a Russian warplane in November 2015 and the deterioration in ties between Ankara and Moscow. 

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is to make an official visit to Turkey on March 9-10, the Ukrainian president's office said in a statement on March 7. 

Poroshenko will carry out talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an and Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu, according to the statement. 

Poroshenko will also meet with Turkish Parliament Speaker ?smail Kahraman.

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has asked the country's Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk to step down.

Poroshenko on Tuesday issued a statement saying that Yatsenyuk's cabinet had lost the support of the ruling coalition, but that Ukraine "has no time for elections."

Three Ukrainian soldiers have been killed and seven more wounded on Tuesday in clashes between Ukrainian government forces and pro-Russian rebels.

This has been announced by the authorities in Kiev.

The risk of open war between Russia and Ukraine is greater than it was a year ago and Russian President Vladimir Putin has begun an "information war" against Germany, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko told the German newspaper Bild.

Europe's top human rights body has sent a delegation to Crimea to assess the situation in the strategic peninsula annexed by Russia from Ukraine in 2014, officials said on Jan. 25.

Bulgarian policemen have readiness to stage new protests over the new bill proposing amendments to the Interior Ministry Act.

"It is not borders and state territories that matter, but people’s fortunes," Russian President Vladimir Putin has said.

In an interview for Germany's Bild newspaper, he reiterated his position that Russia respected international law in the case of the annexation of Crimea.
