Turkey's annual inflation rises in August
Turkey's annual inflation rate climbed in August compared to the previous month, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced on Sept. 3.

Consumer prices in Turkey rose 19.25 percent year-on-year last month from 18.95 percent in July, TÜİK said.

Annual inflation in August at 2.1% due to more expensive fuel
Ljubljana – The annual inflation rate in Slovenia in August stood at 2.1%, mostly due to significantly more expensive petroleum products, while monthly inflation rate was at 0.1%, the Statistics Office reported on Tuesday.
Annual inflation rate up to 5 pct in July 2021
The annual inflation rate has risen to 5 pct in the month of July 2021, from 3.9 pct in June, given that non-food products were more expensive by 7.64 pct, services by 2.74 pct and foodstuffs by 2.33 pct, according to data published on Wednesday by the National Institute for Statistics (INS).

BNR raises to 5.6 pct inflation prognosis for year end
The National Bank of Romania (BNR) has increased to 5.6 pct the inflation prognosis for the end of this year and 3.4 pct for the end of next year, according to a presentation delivered on Monday by the Governor of the National Bank of Romania, Mugur Isarescu.
Industrial Output Grows by 1,5% in Bulgaria Y/Y
In May 2021, industrial production in Bulgaria grew by 15.1 per cent compared to May 2020, reads the latest Monthly Report on Bulgarian Economy released by the Economy Ministry on Thursday. Growth continued to be driven by the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, of machinery and equipment, and of metal products.

Turkey's annual inflation rate at 18.95% in July
Turkey registered an annual hike of 18.95% in consumer prices in July, the country's statistical authority announced on Aug. 3.

The annual inflation climbed 1.42 percentage points from 17.53% a month ago, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.
The figure was 11.76% in July 2020.

Annual inflation in July at 2% due to more expensive fuel
Ljubljana – Annual inflation in Slovenia in July ran at 2%, mostly on the account of more expensive petroleum products, while monthly inflation was at 0.4%, the Statistics Office reported on Friday.
Petroleum products accounted for 1.2 percentage points of the annual inflation rate in July, as the prices of liquid fuels were up by 25.2%, diesel by 29.2% and petrol by 24.4%.
Romania's annual inflation rate advances to 3.9 pct in June
Romania's annual inflation rate increased to 3.9 percent this June from 3.8 percent in May, as prices for non-foods advanced 5.71 percent, for food 2.17 percent, and for services 1.59 percent, shows data released on Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Annual inflation rate at 17.53 pct in June
Turkey posted a 17.53 percent annual hike in consumer prices in June, the country's statistical authority said on July 5.
Annual inflation rose 0.94 percentage points last month, up from 16.59 percent in May, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
