Turkey's annual inflation rate at 19.89% in October

Turkey registered an annual increase of 19.89% in consumer prices in October, the country's statistical authority announced on Nov. 3. 

The annual inflation rose by 0.31 percentage points from 19.58% a month ago, while the figure was 11.89% in October 2020, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said.

Forecast: Basic Food Prices in Bulgaria will Rise by Another 7% by the End of the Year

Basic food is expected to rise by another 7% by the end of the year. This is predicted by the chairman of the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets Vladimir Ivanov. However, despite the high prices of electricity and natural gas, there will be no sharp jump. The reasons are the competitive market and shrinking consumption.

Bulgaria: Manufactured Goods Shot up 18% in August

In August 2021, production prices in Bulgaria increased by 3% compared to the previous month and recorded a record growth on an annual basis of nearly 18% as a result of a sharp jump in energy prices, according to data from the National Statistical Institute, quoted by BNR. They are also evidence of a continued rise in inflation in the coming months.

Inflation Rate in Bulgaria stands at 3.7 Percent Y/Y vs July 2020

The National Statistical Institute reported here on Wednesday that inflation in August 2021 was 3.7 per cent compared to August 2020, and 0.8 per cent compared to July 2021.
The inflation rate since the beginning of the year (August 2021 compared to December 2020) was 3.1 per cent.

Annual inflation rate up to 5.3 in August

The annual inflation rate went up to 5.3 pct in August 2021, from 5 pct in July, given that non-food stuffs were more expensive by 7.92 pct, foodstuffs by 2.7 pct, and services by 2.97 pct, according to data published on Friday by the National Institute for Statistics (INS). According to the INS, consumer prices in August 2021 compared to July 2021 increased by 0.2 pct.
