A meeting at the White House is always a significant event. However, the United States is more than Washington, the capital, where Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is set to arrive on Monday. There are other major cities, such as Chicago, which Tsipras is also scheduled to visit - and with good reason.

PM cites voter support for measures on two-year election anniversary
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras said his government's re-election in September 2015 was tantamount to voter approval of a package of new measures agreed with the country's creditors.
Serbia and Greece recognize each other's driving licenses
Serbia and Greece signed on Thursday in Thessaloniki six interstate agreements.

The ceremony of delivery of restoration work of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem (LIVE FEED)
The Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is in Israel attending the ceremony of delivery of maintenance work, protection and restoration of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.
He is accompanied by the Ministers of the cabinet and MPs and officials of all the political parties.
The maintenance works were done by over 40 Greek restoration experts and archaeologists.
Tsipras congratulates Rutte on victory in Dutch elections
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Thursday congratulated Mark Rutte for his victory in Wednesday's Dutch elections.
The Greek prime minister spoke with his Dutch counterpart on the telephone and expressed his support for the outcome.

Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras met with President of France Francois Hollande in Paris on Wednesday and that could have been an interesting meeting if there had not been endless and similar “political negotiations” between prime minister and European leaders with the known memorandum result of last July.

Piraeus Port concession to be signed on Friday
An agreement between the Chinese shipping and port group Cosco and Greek government will be signed on Friday noon regarding the concession of 51% of the Piraeus Port (OLP).
The agreement will be signed at Maximos Mansion in the presence of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
