PM Tsipras’ overhasty announcements before farmers driving to Athens
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras stated on Wednesday during a cabinet meeting that the government is open to discuss with the farmers, but he did not submit any specific proposal, while his announcements on social security contributions have already been rejected by the farmers.
Mr. Tsipras referred to hotspot issue reiterating that “they will be ready by next week,”.

A group of Greek citizens lashed out at Labour Minister Giorgos Katrougalos on Monday in the center of Athens.
The incident took place at Kotzia square while the minister and other government officials were heading to Mela Mansion of National Bank in order to attend the speech of Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
Greek parliament recognizes Palestine
The Greek parliament on Tuesday voted unanimously to recognize Palestine as a state, it has been reported.
The voting took place during the official visit to Athens of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, who met with Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.

Putin, Tsipras Pledge to Boost Energy Cooperation
Russian President Vladimir Putin and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras have confirmed in a phone conversation they would work to increase bilateral cooperation.
The Kremlin's press service has pointed out that Putin and Tsipras have affirmed their interest in "deepening further cooperation in all directions, including in the energy sphere."
