Google is expanding one of the most interesting options of Google Maps - navigation using public transport. The function already operates in Sofia and offers various options for traveling by using buses, trolleys, trams and metro.

Not well and poorly serviced by Sofia's public transport are not only the areas on the periphery of the city but also those that are relatively close to the center. The pride of the management of the metropolitan at Sofia municipality in the last decade - the metro, is far from beneficial for the entire capital and suburban areas, but mainly for the neighborhoods situated along it.

It will affect the movement of the subway, the ships and the ferries, reported NOVA TV. 

According to information from the Bulgarian Embassy in Athens on May 1, 2019, a 24-hour transport strike is announced in Greece that will affect bus, trolley, city electric rail transport as well as subway, ship and ferry traffic.

The ver.di labour union called ground staff out on a one-day strike starting at 3 a.m. Monday. The walkout was announced Sunday evening.
