Bomb strikes Shiite mosque in Kuwait

A bomb has exploded in a Shiite mosque in the Kuwaiti capital.
     
The bomb struck the Imam Sadiq Mosque in a busy area of Kuwait City's al-Sawabir district. Witness Abdullah al-Saffar was at the mosque at the time. He says the explosions took place on the mosque grounds following Friday prayers, and that there were casualties.
     

ISIS attacks Saudi Arabia

ISIS assumed responsibility for a suicide attack against a Shiite mosque in Saudi Arabia. According to the SA Health Ministry 21 people were killed and 81 were wounded, out of which 21 are in critical condition.

 

After the attack, the UN Security Council issued a response which stated that “ISIS must be defeated”.

 

 

IS Claims Responsibility for Suicide Attack on Shiite Mosque in Saudi Arabia

The Islamic State (IS) has claimed responsibility for a suicide attack on a Shiite mosque in eastern Saudi Arabia.

The claim was posted on Twitter with an image of the suicide bomber, according to reports of the BBC News.

Some media outlets, however, question the credibility of the Twitter posting.
