RASKA - Our duty is to protect Serbian holy sites, and the majority of them are in Kosovo-Metohija, Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) leader Ivica Dacic said on Thursday during a visit to Raska, southwestern Serbia, ahead of the December 17 elections.

RASKA - Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic reiterated on Thursday that Serbia was militarily neutral and would not change that position, and noted that the country would not join NATO or the eastern military alliance.

RASKA - Pristina's sole objective is to provoke the Serbs so that it can portray itself as a victim and a "Zelenskyy" and get Serbia into a conflict with NATO, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at a meeting with representatives of Kosovo-Metohija Serbs in Raska, central Serbia, on Thursday.

In Montenegro, heavy rain in the towns of Pljevlja, Mojkovac and Rozaje blocked roads due to rising water levels and landslides. The Interior Ministry said its Protection and Rescue Office was in constant communication with local authorities, adding that the army is on standby if the situation worsens.

BELGRADE - Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff Gen Milan Mojsilovic visited a part of army troops executing tasks in the Raska garrison and the Novi Pazar garrison location in southwestern Serbia and extended holiday greetings to them.

Vucic visited the works on the construction of the Novi Pazar-Tutin road.
"We gave 4 million euros for the first phase. The construction works are starting and will not stop," he said.
He stated that different roads have been neglected for decades and that part of that has started to change.

FM: We support alliance against terrorism

BELGRADE -- Foreign Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dačić has said that Serbia supports "the global alliance of the fight against terrorism."
