Erdoğan condemns assassination attempt on Trump

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has condemned the assassination attempt on former U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday, extending his sincerest wishes for a speedy recovery.

"I strongly condemn the assassination attempt against the 45th President of the United States and presidential candidate, Mr. Donald Trump," Erdogan stated.

Famagusta port in spotlight

"Until comprehensive, sustainable peace is established in Palestine, attempts at cooperation with Israel within NATO will not be approved by Turkey," Erdogan said at a news conference at the NATO summit.

Erdoğan holds bilateral talks at NATO summit in US

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is engaging in intensive bilateral talks during his visit to the United States for a three-day NATO summit.

The gathering kicked off with a ceremony commemorating the alliance's 75th anniversary.

Following the opening event, Erdoğan met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban at his hotel.
