Challenges and threats in the field of digital security of the Russian Federation have increased dramatically since the beginning of the special operation, Medvedev said.
"A real war has been launched against Russia in cyber space, the sanctions pressure of hostile countries is constantly increasing," said the Deputy President of the Security Council.

Akkuyu nuclear power plant boosts local economy
The Akkuyu nuclear power plant that is being built in the southern province of Mersin, is giving a strong boost to the local economy, according to experts and a local business leader.
Since the start of the construction work, more than 500 new businesses have been registered with the Silifke Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said Nurettin Kaynak, its president.

Türkiye has upgraded to the league of nuclear power countries with the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said on April 27.
"Our country has been promoted to the league of nuclear power countries after a 60-year delay," Erdoğan said, addressing the Akkuyu NPP First Nuclear Fuel Delivery Ceremony.

Turkey's President Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin may visit Turkey on April 27 for the inauguration of the country's first nuclear power reactor built by Russia's state nuclear energy company Rosatom.
Hungary to Veto EU Nuclear Sanctions against Russia
Hungary will veto European Union sanctions against Russia affecting nuclear power, Prime Minister Viktor Orban told state radio on Friday, Reuters reported.
Ukraine has called on the EU to include Russia's state nuclear company Rosatom in the sanctions, but Hungary, home to a Russian-built nuclear power plant that it plans to expand with Rosatom's help, has blocked that.
Nuclear fuel mock-ups sent to Akkuyu
Rosatom has announced that it manufactured and dispatched a shipment of nuclear fuel mock-ups for the first unit of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant.
The fuel dummies are shipped together with mock-ups of control rods and tools for incoming inspections of nuclear fuel, the Russian company said in a statement.
