New multiplex cinema opening in Ljubljana

Ljubljana – A new multiplex cinema will open in Ljubljana on Wednesday. Located in the Supernova shopping mall in the southern borough of Rudnik, it will have seven theatres with a combined 1,357 seats.

The cinemas offer seats in various quality (standard, double-lover, VIP, VIP deluxe) and are equipped with Barco laser projectors and Dolby Atmos sound system.

Tragedy: Two Children Drawn in Dam in Burgas

Two children drowned in the waters of  Mandra Dam in Burgas.  The boys, aged 11 and 13, entered the dam near Meden Rudnik complex on Saturday evening to swim.

Their parents reported to the police that they had not returned and the police began searching. What happened and how dangerous can swimming be there answered one of the officers involved in the operation.

Six New Industrial Zones to Be Established in Burgas

Six new industrial zones will be established in the next two years in Burgas - "Meden Rudnik", Dolno Ezerovo, Ravnets, Ninth kilometer, Cherno more and expansion of the North industrial zone, Dimitar Nikolov announced.

The procedures for lands alienation, change of their purpose and their separation into plots for business and industry have already been completed.

Municipal Officials in Burgas Stopped the Sale of a Child

Burgas Municipality officials prevented the sale of a 14-year-old child abroad. The case unravels in the territorial directorate of Meden rudnik complex. There, a Roma family from the Akacia district took their daughter to get her a new birth certificate. They explained that the original document needed to certify parental rights and when traveling abroad was lost.

Serbia marks Miners’ Day

SENJSKI RUDNIK - Serbian miners Wednesday marked Miners’ Day, a holiday that has been established to commemorate a great miners' strike that took place at the Senje Mine (Senjski Rudnik), the first and oldest mining pit in Serbia, now part of RMU Rembas, on August 6 in 1903.

Antic signals new law on mining

RUDNIK - Minister of Energy and Mining Aleksandar Antic said on Wednesday that Serbia's mining resources, coupled with a modern law on mining and geological exploration, could attract investors and significantly contribute to the overall development of the national economy.

310 slides, landslides appear in Gornji Milanovac

GORNJI MILANOVAC - Milisav Mirkovic, Gornji Milanovac mayor, told Tanjug on Monday that a total of 310 slides and landslides have been registered in the territory of this municipality on Mt. Rudnik, central Serbia, after devastating floods.

“Six houses have been pulled down and 15 damaged, and financial statements will be concluded this week in terms of the overall damage,” he said.
