NOVI PAZAR - Head of the ‘For Bosniak Unity' list Sulejman Ugljanin has declared final victory in the elections for the national councils of national minorities, after repeat elections in the municipality of Tutin, southwestern Serbia.
5 people charged with fighting for ISIL
BELGRADE - The Serbian Organized Crime Prosecutor's Office stated on Tuesday that it has raised an indictment against four persons from Novi Pazar and one from Belgrade on suspicion of partaking in armed operations of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

Serbia Charges Alleged Isis Funders and Recruiters
Abid Podbicanin, Sead Plojovic, Tefik Mujovic and Izudin Crnovršanin, all from Novi Pazar, and Ferat Kasumovic, from Belgrade, are accused of recruiting men to fight for the Sunni terrorist organisation Islamic State, or Isis.

The opening of a religious kindergarten in northern Montenegro under the auspices of the Islamic Community in Serbia has reignited a bitter feud between two Islamic organisations in the area - the Islamic Community of Montenegro and its sister organisation in Serbia, led by the Mufti of Sandzak, Muamer Zukorlic.

Foreign donations fund outpatient clinic, recycling centre
NOVI PAZAR - The ambassadors of the United Nations and Japan to Serbia, Irena Vojackova-Solorano and Masafumi Kuroki, have opened an outpatient clinic in Blazevo, near Novi Pazar, and visited the construction site of a recycling centre.
The two facilities are a result of the UN project titled Improving Human Security in Southwest Serbia, mostly funded by the Japanese government.
Sandzak’s Facebook ‘Army’ Causes Alarm in Serbia
Branko Stamenkovic, a prosecutor for high technology crime, has ordered Serbian police to gather information about the people behind the Facebook pages called "Army of Sandzak".
There are several pages bearing the name of Sandzak Army, mostly set up in the last couple of weeks. None has more than 120 members.

'For Bosniak Unity' slate formed
NOVI PAZAR - The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) of Sandzak has announced that a slate titled "For Bosniak Unity" has been formed in Novi Pazar that will take part in the elections for the new composition of the Bosniak National Council.
