BELGRADE - The Serbian Government adopted on Thursday the Strategy for agriculture and rural development of Serbia for the period of the next ten years.
Tasovac: Unbiased information, exit of state from media
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Ivan Tasovac said Wednesday that the first adoption of a set of media bills in 11 years was providing for a timely, truthful, complete and unbiased information and withdrawal of the state from the media by the middle of 2015.
Parliament to debate reform bills on Tuesday
BELGRADE - An extraordinary session of the Serbian parliament, which will discuss, among other things, the Bill of privatization and a set of media laws - the Bills on public information and the media, on electronic media and on the public service media, has been scheduled for tomorrow, the parliament said in a release on Monday.

Govt adopts draft laws on media
BELGRADE - The Serbian government adopted three draft laws on public media at its Sunday session and forwarded them to the parliament for debate and adoption on urgent procedure.
The government adopted the draft law on public information and the media, the draft law on electronic media and the draft law on public media services.

Vucic signs book of condolence at Dutch Embassy
BELGRADE - Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic signed Thursday a book of condolence at the Dutch Embassy in Belgrade, expressing his deep sorrow over the death of 193 citizens of the Netherlands who lost their lives in a recent plane crash in the east of Ukraine.

No delays at border crossings
BELGRADE – There are currently no delays at the border crossings to and from Serbia, the Serbian Interior Ministry said in a release Monday.
Wait times of up to three hours were reported over the weekend, the release said.
