Tsipras to visit Berlin, meet Scholz
The leader of main opposition SYRIZA, Alexis Tsipras, will travel to Berlin on Thursday for a two-day visit.
Tsipras plans to address Greeks living in Germany at an event organized by the city's SYRIZA organization on Thursday at 8 p.m.
This will be followed by a meeting with the leadership of Germany's left-wing party, Die Linke.

The challenges ahead
The easy bit is over for newly elected Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis - at least as regards beating SYRIZA and forming a majority New Democracy government. Up until a couple of months ago, these were not things that could be taken for granted, regardless of what some people now claim.

European Parliament elections a domestic earthquake
The political scene changed utterly Sunday, as New Democracy swept to a convincing victory over the ruling SYRIZA party in European Parliament elections. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras had framed the poll as a vote of confidence in his government, his policies and himself. The vote, however, turned out to be not only a defeat for Tsipras but also an earthquake in Greece's politics.
DIMAR chief given tourism portfolio
Alexis Tsipras has appointed the President of the Democratic Left (DIMAR) party, Thanasis Theoharopoulos, as the new minister for tourism following the resignation on Friday of Elena Kountoura, who will be running for a seat in European Parliament later this month on the SYRIZA ticket.
