The Energy Market Regulatory Board has granted preliminary licenses to solar and wind energy power plants to increase the storage capacity further, making an investment of approximately $3 billion.

Within the scope of a new project by the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry, which will both increase renewable energy production and protect agricultural lands, floating solar panels will be placed on stagnant water surfaces such as dams and ponds.

The factory, which has faced pollution accusations in the past, said all the electricity generated by the 2.23 megawatt solar power plant will immediately be used in production.

Ljubljana – The government is gearing up to increase the capacity of production of electricity from solar energy, with Prime Minister Robert Golob announcing a plan to set up “giant solar power plants” available to households in the next three years.

Türkiye's installed solar power capacity, which stood at 7.82 GW in 2021, is expected to increase to 30 GW by 2030, the International Solar Energy Community Türkiye Section (GÜNDER) has said in SolarPower Europe's "Global Market Outlook 2022-2026" report.
