Many celebrities walked on the Red Carpet of Hollywood’s most glamorous event, the 88th Academy Awards, which took place on February 28.
For many of those, this was not their first time, as they have been nominated many times since their film debut.

Bulgarian Movie Viktoria Released in the US
The film Viktoria by director and writer Maya Vitkova has been selected for a US release by the company Big World Pictures, located in Brooklyn, New York, the Hollywood Reporter announced.
The official premiere of the movie was at the Sundance Film Fetsival. In fact, this is mreley the second Bulgarian movie selected for a US release over the course of the past thirty years.

Collision of Train, Truck Leaves at Least 30 Injured in California
A Metrolink train derailed in Oxnard in southern California after colliding with a tractor trailer on Tuesday, leaving at least 30 people injured.
The train, which was destined to Los Angeles, crashed about 100 kilometres before its final destination, the BBC reports.

Seven more people were wounded late on Friday in the town of Isla Vista near the campus of the University.
5.1 Earthquake Jolts California, Possible Aftershocks
An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 on the Richter scale has shaken Southern California on Friday evening.
There are no reported major damages, though several residents suffered slight injuries from falling objects, according to the Los Angeles Times. The epicenter of the tremor was in Orange County, one mile east of La Habra, and in close proximity to Los Angeles.
