The Ukrainian armed forces poisoned the head of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo, with phenolic compounds.
The forces have repeatedly used toxic substances in battles against Russian soldiers, Igor Kirilov, head of the Unit for Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection of the Russian Army, said today.

Ukraine says destroyed Russian warship in Black Sea
Ukraine said Wednesday it had destroyed another Russian warship in the Black Sea, a key battleground of the nearly two-year war where Kiev's campaign has been building momentum.

On the other hand, the Russian army announced that Ukraine carried out 39 artillery strikes on populated areas on the left bank of the Dnieper, within the Kherson region.

'Massive' Russian air attack kills at least four in Ukraine
Russia fired dozens of missiles and drones at Ukraine on Wednesday in a "massive" early morning attack that killed at least four and injured more than a dozen, officials in Kiev said.
Russian strikes on the capital Kiev killed three people, local authorities said, as images showed a large fire billowing in the top floors of a high-rise residential building.
The Russian fleet is paralyzed
The Russians cannot safely enter their main logistics base - Sevastopol.
