Montenegrin fans shout "this is Serbia" in Croatian capital

They were brought in for rioting in central parts of the Croatian capital, website 24sata.hr is reporting.

The fans were smashing bottles, ashtrays, and hitting dumpsters in Zagreb's central Bana Jelacica Square. They also shouted, "This is Serbia."

Croatian police announced on Monday that a total of 57 Montenegrin fans had been detained.

Serbian women claim gold at EuroVolley 2017

The Serbian women's volleyball national team has won the gold medal at this year's European championship, EuroVolley 2017.

The previous gold in this competition was claimed by Serbia in 2011. This is the 15th medal that the women's team has brought home since 2006 from various competitions.

Turkey won bronze, after defeating Azerbaijan 3-1.

UEFA confirms two-game stadium ban for Partizan Belgrade

NYON - The disciplinary commission of European football's governing body UEFA has officially confirmed a two-game stadium ban and a 130,000-euro fine for Serbian champions Partizan Belgrade.

At the same time, UEFA warned Partizan they would automatically receive a one-game stadium ban in case of a similar offence in the next three years.
