Tornado causes limited damages in Rhodes
A tornado that appeared in the northern part of the island of Rhodes, southeastern Greece, on Monday caused limited damages but no injuries, local authorities said.
The tornado, which affected the area from Kallithea to Zefiros, uprooted trees and broke several branches, while several boats were smashed in Nea Marina.
The Fire Department was working to remove debris.

Tornado damages homes in Pyrgos
The city of Pyrgos, in the Western Greece region, was hit by a rare tornado before dawn Sunday.
There has been extensive damage to the facades of homes on the eastern side of the city as well as a business, media reported. Affected locals said repair costs will be considerable.

A state of emergency has been declared in multiple communities within the Silistra region, leaving a significant portion of them without access to electricity and the internet. Moving from the west to the east at high speeds, the weather system left a trail of destruction behind, injuring two French tourists who were camping outside a designated area in Bohinj.
