Retail sales see volume grow again

Retail sales volume posted a significant rise in October 2014 compared with the same month in 2013, while the constant decline in prices meant there was only marginal growth in turnover, according to data released on Wednesday by the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT).

Hidroelectrica - record profit of 1.073 bn lei
Hidroelectrica recorded, after the first 11 months of 2014, a record profit of 1.073 billion lei, up by 28% from the same period of last year, when the company posted a profit of 841 million lei, a company's release informs on Monday.

Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency To Check Auto Glass Shops
Inspectors of Bulgaria's National Revenue Agency started checkups in the auto glass shops in Sofia, said the institution.
The inspections are prompted by numerous complaints of car owners after yesterday's hailstorm in Sofia, that the repair shops don't issue receipts, as required by law.

The turnover index in industry in February recorded a decline of 0.1 percent, compared to the same month last year, Greeces statistical authority, ELSTAT, reported on Wednesday.
