Messinia leads hospitality growth in February
Hospitality enterprises' turnover jumped 27%, or by 19.2 million euros in February, totaling €90.46 million, from €71.21 million in the same month last year, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) said on Monday.

Supermarket turnover expands 8.2% in Q1
Supermarket turnover grew 8.2% in the first quarter of 2023 compared with the same period in 2022, NielsenIQ said in a report released on Friday.
The report attributed this positive development to an 8.1% rise in fresh food and an 8.2% increase in packaged food and beverage. The personal care category recorded a 7.6% increase in turnover while house products grew 12.1%.

Turnover rises in organized retail industry
Turnover in Türkiye's organized retail sector started to increase in March after falling in February in the wake of the devastating earthquakes in the country's southern provinces, said Sinan Öncel, the president of the United Brands Association (BMD).

Serbian industrial turnover up by 0.3 pct y-o-y in February
BELGRADE - Serbia's February 2023 industrial turnover was up by 0.3 pct relative to the same month of last year, the national statistical office has said.
Relative to the 2022 average, it was down by 13.6 pct.
By sectors, the mining sector registered a 9.1 pct turnover increase y-o-y, while the manufacturing industry turnover remained unchanged.

BSH posts record turnover of 15.6 billion euros in 2021
Bosch Group's home appliances company BSH Hausgeräte GmbH (BSH) achieved its highest-ever turnover in the 55 years of its existence for the second consecutive year in 2021.
BSH generated a turnover of 15.6 billion euros last year, a year-on-year increase of 12 percent, according to a company statement released on April 5.
Supermarkets: January sales dropped by 3.4%
The "Elpida" severe weather front but also reduced demand, especially in the first 15 days of the year, "froze" supermarket sales in January.
According to the latest NielsenIQ measurements, sales in value at organized food retail in January this year showed a negative trend at -3.4%, compared to January 2021.

Total turnover in Turkish economy leaps 43% in September
The Turkish economy's total turnover jumped 42.6% year-on-year in September, official data showed on Nov. 12.
The improvement was driven by increases in the industry, construction, trade, and services sectors, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) said in a statement.
