Drecun: Situation in Kosovo-Metohija dramatic

BELGRADE - The head of the Serbian parliamentary committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun said on Friday President Aleksandar Vucic's latest public address demonstrated that the situation in Kosovo-Metohija was entering a dramatic stage of developments and that there was no indication Pristina would give up on unilateral moves.

As they stated, a routine military exercise will be conducted with the aim of improving the readiness and preparedness of the units.
The announcement states that the soldiers and vehicles of that mission will be deployed in the municipalities of Istok, trpce, Mamusha, Deane, Djakovica, Draga, Elez Han and Elezit Kaanik.

Vucevic asks US to use leverage on Pristina to avert escalation

BELGRADE - Serbian Defence Minister Milos Vucevic met with US Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Tressa Guenov on Friday and asked the US to use its leverage on Pristina to avert further escalation of conflicts in the north of Kosovo-Metohija.
