Co-chair of the opposition National Liberal Party (PNL) Vasile Blaga on Friday said an aye for the motion of censure against Prime Minister Victor Ponta is a solution of utmost urgency to the national interest of Romania, telling to Ponta that he should learn from Moldova's prime minister and step down.
PNL's Gorghiu: I appeal to MPs in ruling coalition to act like responsible persons
The co-chairperson of the National Liberal Party (PNL), Alina Gorghiu, has stated on Friday, in the plenum of Parliament, during the debate on the motion of censure, that MPs have the chance to prove that the Legislative "is not solidary with abuse and hypocrisy" and appealed to the deputies and senators of parties in the governing coalition "to act like responsible persons".
Opposition reads out motion at plenary session of Parliament
Senator Viorel Badea of the opposition National Liberal Party (PNL) on Friday read out the Opposition's motion of censure against Prime Minister Victor Ponta called 'Victor Ponta - dismissed for excessive power by blocking elections. The right to vote is not sloganeering!'
In their motion, the Liberals call for a withdrawal of confidence in the Government.
Romania's Ponta Vows to Survive Confidence Vote
Romania's parliament on Friday is to debate a no-confidence motion against the centre-left government of Victor Ponta, but its chances of success are seen as low.

Romania's Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday rejected the request of prosecutors from the Anti-Corruption Department, DNA, to investigate Prime Minister Victor Ponta.
There were 231 votes against the request and only 120 in favour, all from the opposition National Liberal Party, PNL.
