Wave of Terror in Europe

Not a nice subject, I know. With the renewed wave of terror all around the country, the least we can do, as ordinary mortals, is to take our own personal measures.  

French authorities were transferring the man suspected of beheading his boss in an alleged jihadist attack to Paris on June 28, as it emerged he sent a macabre "selfie" of the decapitation.

French anti-terrorism authorities have said the man who allegedly committed a factory attack in Grenoble was known to the intelligence services.

The senior anti-terrorism prosecutor has personally taken over the case, France 24 reports.

A man has been decapitated and several others have been injured in an alleged Islamist attack in Grenoble, France.

Some sources now say the perpetrator has been arrested.

Ministers from 47 European nations agreed for the first time May 19 to harmonise their laws to stop so-called foreign fighters travelling to Iraq and Syria to join jihadist groups.

The threat of a jihadist attack in France has reached a level "without precedent" and new attacks are inevitable, according to top counter-terrorism officials.
      
"The threat is permanent," said one high-level official in the defence ministry, speaking on condition of anonymity.        

Danish police said they arrested on Feb. 27 a third alleged accomplice in the Copenhagen shootings, nearly two weeks after the attacks that killed two people.
      
The suspect is "charged with complicity in the perpetrator's actions" and will appear before a judge on Saturday for a custody hearing, police said in a statement.
