Mayor Fandakova: The First 20 Electric Buses in Sofia will be Available by the End of the Year
"By the end of the year the first 20 electric buses would have arrived in Sofia and we need specialists to support them because currently we do not have any." This is what Sofia mayor Yordanka Fandakova said at the opening of the new Center for Diagnostics of Electric and Conventional Vehicles at the Henry Ford Vocational School of Transport and Energy, BGNES reported.
The Repair of Popular Grafa Street in the Center of Sofia Starts on May 8th
On May 8, Sofia Municipality undertook the long-awaited reconstruction of Graf Ignatiev Street, Mayor Yordanka Fandakova said. The repair will start from "Alabin" street with the replacement of the plumbing pipes. Tram traffic will be stopped. Buses will carry passengers through Gurko Street. Fandakova warned that there would be dismantling activities related to noise.
Sofia Hosts the World Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup
From March 30 to April 1, 2018, Sofia hosts the World Cup of Rhythmic gymnastics.
The tournament will feature the best competitors from 34 countries around the world.
Bulgaria will be represented by our national ensemble as well as by the individual ensembles contestants Katrin Taseva and Boryana Calleine.
